Morris contacted me before arrival to arrange check-in details. He gave a friendly welcome. The house is charming, the room was clean, and breakfast was fantastic. I really enjoyed the breakfast options!
The bathroom was too small. The bedroom also felt tight spacewise.

The location is convenient, close to the town center! Walking to the city took only 15-20 minutes, it was a very easy walk. There are plenty of parking areas if you prefer driving!

excellent short break

garden viewcomfortable bedlong walk
the host, morris, was very friendly and helpful. our room was quiet with a comfortable bed and had a view of the garden. i found the bathroom good with a heated towel rail and a nice hot shower. complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits were replenished for our second day. the wifi worked well.
the walk to the town center took about 15 minutes this was a bit longer than i prefer. the path was simple and straight though.

parking is available at the hotel. the location is a steady 15-minute stroll into the centre of town. i found this quite convenient. a supermarket is located nearby for any essentials.

The breakfast included tasty options and was well-prepared I enjoyed it.
The bathroom was quite small it felt cramped. The shower temperature was difficult to regulate I struggled to find a comfortable setting. The water pressure was also very low making it hard to rinse off shampoo properly.
